If you want to be a successful trader, you will need to learn how to read charts but more importantly, you will need the best charts so you can make the best trade.
This article will not go into reading charts. However, we will go over some software and website that provide the best FREE charts for you to use.
I use TradingView on a daily basis. And here is why:
The biggest reason why I use this for my trading is because of how simple yet powerful it is.
The only complaint I have about TradingView is that you cannot use multiple charts at the same time (on the free version). But if you upgrade and pay them monthly, you can do this also.
Just like TradingView, Yahoo charts are beautiful and simple, which makes it better to read and understand.
Now Yahoo doesn’t have all the features like TradingView but they do allow you to create a list of stocks you want to follow and give you over 100 technical indicators to use.
No matter what level you are at with your trading, Yahoo charts can get the job done for you.
Another powerful stock charts platform, StockCharts the highest-quality financial charts in seconds.
Out of the previous two, this is probably one of the most used charts for any type of trader.
The only part that I am not a big fan of is that the charts are a little complicated here. If you love charts then this will be no problem for you but if you are a beginner, this can seem a little overwhelming.
If you have a good chart platform, that can really help you trade better. Remember, charts don’t lie so it’s important that you use them in your trading life.
My advice when it comes to stocks is to use all 3 mentioned above. And then find what works best for you.
